A boudoir photo session can be a bit scary. Asking questions helps calm the nerves and it becomes less of an unknown. I have noticed some questions bubble to the top, so here they are:
Do you share my images?
Only if you would like us to. When you sign up for our boudoir photography, we put in writing that you control who sees your images. Only written permission from you can change that. Even husbands and lovers cannot see them without your written approval. We want you to feel safe and comfortable throughout your experience.
Do I have to wear lingerie?
You can wear what you want, including nothing (which is pretty common)! Some ladies have brought in unique choices like trench coats, designer dresses or sports equipment. We can make anything you like work for you. Visit our blog on choosing outfits for more ideas.
Do you have a payment plan?
Yes, we do. Both for your session and for your enlargements. You can make payments for your session. We just schedule your date after it is all paid for. For your image order, you can arrange a payment schedule lasting up to 24 months. If you order loose prints, we will print up a collection every few months as they are paid for. If you want wall images or books, they will be ready for you to pick up with your last payment.

Are hairstyling and makeup included?
Yes, it is part of the pampering. Every session includes that option. If you prefer to do your own, you can. Our artists are amazing! They listen to what you want and create a polished, glowing version of you.
Do you Photoshop my images?
We don’t alter your body to match some arbitrary beauty standard unless you want us to. We do polish your images, retouching blemishes, softening lines, smoothing that muffin top, giving the image a glow. We are about body embracing, showing off your natural beauty. I do a lot of the magic with posing, lighting and camera angles.
Where should I buy outfits?
Calgary and the internet are full of options. Just know that the camera can’t tell if the outfit is expensive or not, as long as it fits properly. Consider your personal style as you select outfits, which don’t have to be lingerie. Here are a few options:

What type of print products do you have?
Wow, a lot of unique choices! We offer books printed in a castle in Italy. Together, we design the book layouts of your images with artwork to your approval. You can opt for loose prints mounted or unmounted. We have some beautiful boxes that set your images off. Our wall prints can be traditional photographs mounted on a flush frame, wrapped canvas or high gloss metal, all ready to hang.
Do you offer digitals?
Yes, you can get just digitals or get a mix of both prints and jpegs. Some of our print collections include a set of digital images as a bonus. We provide them in a mobile album app that is password-protected for your phone or iPad.
I’m freaking out! How can I calm my nerves?
It would be unusual if you were not nervous! Most women are. Not to worry, I have refined a process over my 41 years of doing this that gets you relaxed quickly. As you see your images, the excitement builds and nerves disappear. Women often remark how surprised they are that they relaxed so quickly.
How many outfits should I bring?
As many as you like! We recommend that if in doubt, bring it. Unlike most boudoir studios, we have unlimited outfit changes. It is easier to bring something and not use it than wishing you had.
Should I get to my shoot early?
Not necessary. We have set aside time just for you. If you do come early, that is fine too.
